Free Trade Agreement

A Free Trade Agreement lets people and goods move freely, with no border tax. You earn a lot from income taxes — nearly twice what a Tariff Trade Agreement pays, on the same count of the smaller realm's people.

People mixing across borders spread low morale and low support. Each day the healthier of the two realms drifts down toward the worse one, as far as its figure and no further. The drift runs one way only: the worse realm is never lifted by the contact. Signing with a struggling neighbour buys the income at the price of your own peace at home, so keep an eye on their figures as well as your own.
