Bombers

Bombers are delivery aircraft. They have an offense of 0 and a defense of 0.

Special Operations aimed at another planet need bombers to deliver their payloads, and you cannot launch them without enough. The Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Attacks on your own planet do not need bombers.

In a strike on another planet, your bombers fight the defender's jets. A strike with no bombers destroys none of them.

Bombers do nothing in an attack on your own planet. They add no strength to it, and they take casualties with the rest of the force, so sending them costs you bombers and buys you nothing. Hold them back and spend them on the attacks that need them.

Bombers add a large amount to your net worth.
