Playing Immortal Barons

Immortal Barons is a strategy game. You rule an empire in a broken world. You build an economy, raise an army, and compete with other rulers. You play a set number of turns each day.

The player guide is the in-game help

The whole guide is inside the game. On the Entry menu, (A) Instructions shows every topic in order, a screen at a time. (?) Help lets you choose one category and one topic; most menus have it too. The topics are grouped like this:

• Getting Started — how to play, turns and protection, moving through the menus, entering numbers
• Military — units and their roles
• Economy — food, banking, taxes, trading
• Regions — the region types and what each one produces
• Warfare — attacks, missiles, pirates
• Covert Operations — spies, agents and sabotage
• Diplomacy — treaties and alliances
• Inter-BBS — leagues, and dealing with other planets
